We specialize in designing interpretive signage and exhibits for parks and historical sites. Melanie Amick used to work as an Interpretive Ranger with the National Park Service and as Exhibit Designer with the South Carolina State Park Service. In addition to her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, she has received interpretive media training from the National Park Service's Harpers Ferry Center, the National Association for Interpretation, the Southeastern Museums Conference, the South Carolina Humanities Council and the American Association of Museums.
Amick Designs is a member of the National Association of Interpretation (NAI) and the South Carolina Federation of Museums (SCFM). Work by Amick Designs (formerly 150watt Design Studio) has received multiple awards from the South Carolina Federation of Museums.
